Al-Baldawi: The American targeting of the Popular Mobilization Forces aims to cover up Zionist crimes in Gaza.
The spokesman for the Sadiqoon bloc, Muhammad al-Baldawi, confirmed on Wednesday that the American violations in Iraq against the Popular Mobilization Forces are nothing but messages that Washington is trying to deliver to everyone who stands by the Palestinian people.
Al-Baldawi said, “The national discourse of all forces and the government also emphasizes the rejection of all foreign actions and presence on Iraqi soil and the practices carried out by American forces inside Iraq”.
He added, “The practices and crimes committed by America in Iraq are nothing but an attempt to cover up the violations committed by the Zionist entity in the occupied territories against the Palestinian people”.
He stated that “Iraq is at the forefront of countries that have declared their position rejecting the practices of the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, and therefore what America is doing in Iraq is nothing but a response to the national position of the Iraqi government towards the Palestinian issue”.
He pointed out, “Washington is trying, through its practices, to send messages that states that stand by the Palestinian people will be subjected to the same actions carried out by its forces inside Iraq”.
