Al-Halawi said in a press interview that he was sworn in as a replacement for Adnan Faihan, while he renewed his rejection of the presence of foreign forces in Iraq.
He indicated that he would support the removal of the occupation forces from Iraq in accordance with the applicable laws, indicating that he would propose to the Shiite blocs an understanding with the Sunni and Kurdish blocs regarding the removal of foreign forces from the country, pointing out that the Prime Minister is working hard to remove the Americans who are obstructing Iraq’s progress.
